finally got airborne today, amidst numerous 'flying indian' jokes. the guys call me "ah neh" and "indian" etc etc. so much so that "you racist bastards" has now become my catchphrase.
time really speeds by up there - it sure didn't feel like i was flying for 1.1 hours.
the aeros were fun - my only complaint is that he did too few of them! only 2 loops and a wingover or two. only about 4 Gs. pity - it would've been cool to black out, at least halfway. as it was i barely felt the skin-being-pulled-downwards sensation on me face. but it was cool feeling your head suddenly being forced down, then up, and watching the horizon spin and all.
the real work starts tomorrow, though. today's sortie was mostly orientation and wasn't assessed. i hope i can remember the attitudes...and hold straight n level ok. blah.
laterz. dinnerz nowz.
on the other hand...you have different fingers
