the other day, i think it was wednesday, i was reading the australian, one of their broadsheets. the 'gahmen is pretty serious about its PR - they took out a full page ad proclaiming "It's official, Singapore is off the WHO's SARS list." it also had a plug from some WHO type saying how well they had handled things, and the signatures of lots of expatriate business bigwigs.

good on them, although they should have included a "loser of the month" section, quoting the stupid malaysian who claimed that we had exported SARS to them from the imaginary ang mo kio LRT. *snigger*
