again, this post is for my number one fan, without whom... ...i'd be very hot. *ba da bing*!

and also much less lame.

mmmm. the first 3 weeks of school have, really, really passed by in a flash.

i've still barely opened my textbooks, though. in fact i have my $68.60 plural perspectives on political issues textbook open on my lap as i type this - sentences such as "In an unbounded individualist environment the pressures of competition and consequent scarcity of operational time resources stabilise historical time perception." make just about any other activity seem incredibly appealing - like i said the other day, you know you're terribly bored when even solitaire is fun.

i can *feel* my neurons popping and dying under the inexorable weight of all those 20-character words. if you listen hard enough you'll even hear their squeaky little death cries.

outside of studies, i've been having lots of fun hanging out - my classmates are really fun people. i think this is mostly because we knew each other beforehand, because other friends report otherwise. but anyhow, they're a cool bunch. we've done lots of silly things like play DDR in heels - well, not me -, feed many many photo-hunt machines many many 50-cent coins in our quest to beat the high score, go all the way to the zoo for an 80 dollar bucket of ben n jerry's (35% discounts are a wonderful thing) (crystal cleans horse-poo for ice cream discounts!), play speed-gelato-eating contests and lots of other mad stuff.

oh and i've finally found someone who gets as much out of monty python as i do! your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries!

studies wise, though, despite what certain *ahem* people might insist, i think i'm in trouble. not understanding a word of what's going on in 4 out of 5 classes is not, as a general rule, indicative of a high chance of scoring good grades at the end of the term. school is making me feel terribly stupid. i hope this is because the modules i'm doing now are the compulsory core subjects and as such not related to business - stuff like business law and management accounting, both of which are terribly dry. although you do have to give some credit to a subject which contains such gems as "estoppel" and "puff". you wouldn't believe the number of lame estoppel jokes floating around. we've even got an estoppel club!

somebody estop us!

sooo...so far school, less the studying part of it, agrees with me. class, on the other hand, is a bit of a downer. 0830 classes especially so. i must have whined to everyone who'll listen - and then some who won't - how 0830 classes ruin your entire day, and how i hate 0830 classes, and how 0830 classes ought to be banned, and how 0830 classes are the work of the devil, and how... ... alright, alright.

p.s. but 0830 classes really suck!
p.p.s. to my number one fan: hah so reading this was probably good for 5 minutes, eh? now what? msn is a wonderful thing...
