just got home a while ago with 2 days att-c. last night i booked into camp, took my temperature for the sars folder and discovered to, a mix of horror ( shouldn't i be brain-dead already? ) and exultation ( attend-c for sure! ) that my temperature was 39.4 degrees. tried again, as well as on another thermometer and the results were the same.

so it was off to the medical centre where they promptly put me on an iv after registering their surprise at the fact that i was still on my feet with that high a temperature. apparently a wee bit hotter, and my "brain would be frying". they managed to get the catheter in after 2 attempts on both arms, and at least 5 minutes apiece of playing hide-and-seek with my admittedly not-very-obvious veins.

the strangest thing is that i felt perfectly fine the whole time.
